The shift to autonomous operations will be decided in the United States first. Prepare for it now.

The United States invented the large language model. Much of the rest of the market is still catching up. So Onomos, a consultancy from the Netherlands, brings its practice to the United States.

We prepare one process at a time for autonomous work, then lead the transition at the pace each part of your organization can take. The preparation keeps its value whether or not agents are deployed.

The Netherlands United States

Why prepare now

Our view, not a statistic: the decision is being made now, and most of it is made before any agent runs.

Few organizations are ready to hand whole departments to autonomous agents this year. They can still prepare one process now.

Transitions are uneven. In any one process some steps should stay human-led, some belong in the software you already have, some are ready to be delegated to an autonomous workflow, and some teams will become agentic units sooner than others. Deciding which is which, with owners, baselines and acceptance criteria, is the preparation. It leaves you with data, interfaces and ownership fixed, even if the agent decision is deferred.

  1. Human-led

Judgment, accountability and relationships that should stay with people, by design rather than by default.

  2. Existing software and assistance

Steps your current systems or assistants already handle well once the data and interfaces are fixed.

  3. Delegated autonomous workflow

Bounded work an agent can run under explicit acceptance criteria, budget and escalation rules.

  4. Candidate agentic unit

Teams or functions ready to operate as an agent-run unit sooner than the rest of the organization.

Two services

One prepares a process. The other leads it through the transition.

Both are scoped and agreed before any work starts, and both leave you holding authority, staffing and operations.

Preparation for autonomous operations

Duration
Three weeks
Scope
One process, one sponsor
Fee
Fixed, agreed in advance

For a CTO, head of engineering or operations leader who owns one process and wants it ready for autonomous work, whether or not an agent pilot is on this year's plan.

Five deliverables

  • A process map that allocates every step across the four lanes.
  • A capability and integration review of what you already run.
  • An executable first increment with owners, effort and dates.
  • Baseline measures, representative cases and acceptance criteria.
  • A sponsor decision brief and a first-month operating agenda.

Transition leadership

Duration
Eight weeks, renewable
Capacity
Reserved weekly hours
Authority
Stays with you throughout

For the same sponsor after preparation, or a leader who already has a plan and needs someone to hold the design and the pace.

Cadence

  • A weekly sponsor decision meeting and a weekly delivery session.
  • Completed work and results compared with the baseline every two weeks.
  • A decision every four weeks to expand autonomy, repair an obstacle or hold scope.
  • A living roadmap, decision log, ownership register and evaluation results.

Hands-on framework engineering is scoped and quoted separately when the first increment needs it.

The company

Advice from a company group that runs what it recommends.

Onomos is the autonomous-operations consulting practice of Beeri B.V., registered in the Netherlands. It was founded by Moshe Beeri, who is its lead consultant. Onomos and agent.ceo belong to the same company group, so the advice comes from a group that builds and runs autonomous agents itself.

  • The agent.ceo platform

A multi-agent platform in which agents in organizational roles operate under human-defined policy gates. It belongs to the same company group as Onomos, and the governance methods Onomos recommends (verifiable acceptance criteria, evidence-based completion, escalation, budget limits) are the ones that group runs itself.

  • Enterprise engagements

Engagements with proALPHA (April to August 2026) and Prosus (since September 2026). Both began with GenAI foundations and general GenAI consulting. Both concluded that they needed to prepare for autonomy before deploying it. Neither has deployed autonomous agents yet. That path is the one we offer.

  • Open work

SDKs and tooling published under MIT and Apache-2.0 licenses at github.com/GenBrainAI.

  • How we staff

Every engagement is led by the founder today. Onomos adds consultants when an engagement needs them.
